Graduate assistant in the Applied Statistics and Modelling (ASAM) research group. My research focuses on fuzzy statistics, from its theoretical foundations to its application to real-world problems.
Department of Informatics · University of Fribourg, Switzerland
Background
I am a graduate assistant and PhD student in the ASAM group at the University of Fribourg, supervised by Prof. Dr Laurent Donzé. My doctoral research focuses on fuzzy statistics, which makes it possible to model and analyse imprecise data.
I hold a bachelor's degree in fundamental mathematics and a master's degree in applied mathematics (Mathematical Modelling and Applied Analysis) from Université Savoie Mont Blanc, and completed my training with a second-year master's in Stochastics and Data Science at the University of Turin.
I have also gained varied experience: an internship in applied mathematics at the Institut Fresnel (convolutional neural networks for MRI), a data science internship at CFAST, university tutoring and mathematics teaching.

Research interests
My doctoral research focuses on fuzzy statistics.
Fuzzy regression
Regression models for fuzzy data and fuzzy parameters.
Inference on imprecise data
Estimation and statistical testing when observations are imprecise.
Forms of uncertainty
Study of the different forms of uncertainty, such as randomness and imprecision, and how to represent them.
Applied Statistics and Modelling
I am a member of the ASAM group in the Department of Informatics at the University of Fribourg, led by Prof. Dr Laurent Donzé, whose work focuses on applied statistics and modelling.
